Zodiac’s Sea RIB Responders are built for military use and for professional mariners who spend a great deal of time on the water. Sea RIBs provide a smoother ride with more comfort and security for operators than a traditional boat. Their deep V hulls and low stance in the water provide excellent and predictable handling, especially in choppy water. These lightweight boats have tremendous weight carrying capacity, are economical to operate and easy to maintain.

Sea RIBs were conceived with boarding and personnel transfer in mind so there is no 'tipping' when you stand on the collars. Zodiac Sea RIBs are made of a sea-shaped inflatable buoyancy tube and a specifically-engineered rigid hull. They combine the security and stability of an inflatable with the speed & comfort of traditional boats.

The Sea RIB collar is made of heavy-duty neoprene Hypalon fabric with intercommunicating valves. It is removable to make maintenance easier. Collars are also available in DuraRIB material and with Rapid Access Doors (RADs). The Sea RIB range has been designed to offer ready-made RIBs as an alternative to the more sophisticated Zodiac Hurricane range.

The SRR decks are self draining, and feature a moulded bow box and aft motor well for storage. There is a large capacity built in fuel tank, deck access hatch to the fuel connections plus a removable cover for tank maintenance. The deck area is open and reinforced allowing installation of a wide range of steering consoles, bolsters and other equipment.
