The Spinlock Deckvest is the latest evolution of Spinlock's award winning harness and lifejacket technology. The Deckvest model is approved to the new International Standard for lifejackets ISO12402-3 and the International Standard for Deck Safety Harnesses ISO12401. All types of 170N Deckvest are available in 3 sizes and have a 5 year warranty.
The Spinlock Deckvest is available with either UML Pro Sensor or Hammar Hydrostatic activation. Both the UML Pro-Sensor activation head and the Hammar Hydrostatic activation head have a visible indicator to show activation status. A 'Manual Only' firing head can be supplied to order. This high specification Auto Inflating 170N Lifejacket is fitted with a spray hood and a water activated high intensity flashing light and thigh straps.
The Spinlock Deckvest has a compact 3D shape with front opening belt system for fast and secure fitting every time. The wide range of chest and back adjustment allows the wearer to have a comfortable and tailored fit which gives increased freedom of movement for working on deck. There is a soft loop harness attachment point.
All Deckvest harnesses are fully compatible with the Spinlock range of safety lines. These include single handed, double action safety hooks in non-magnetic stainless steel and a three hook version for manoeuvring without unclipping. An overload indicator displays when the line load exceeds 500kgs (1100lbs) to show that the line needs replacing. The Spinlock Deckvest is supplied with an emergency S-Cutter that is designed for severing safety lines under load.
