The Spinlock Deckvest 275N cushioned harness design provides a comfortable and fitted 275N hydrostatic system for professional use. The Deckvest model is approved to the new International Standard for lifejackets ISO12402-3 and the International Standard for Deck Safety Harnesses ISO12401. The 275N Deckvest is available in 2 sizes and has a 5 year warranty.
The Spinlock Deckvest has a compact 3D shape with front opening belt system for fast and secure fitting every time. The wide range of chest and back adjustment allows the wearer to have a comfortable fit which gives increased freedom of movement for working on deck. The new version is ideal for ‘continuous wear’ commercial marine applications providing efficient working and reduced fatigue due to improved design, weight distribution and fit.
The Spinlock Deckvest has a Hammar Hydrostatic activation head with a visible indicator to show activation status. This high specification auto inflating 275N lifejacket is fitted with a spray hood and a water activated high intensity flashing light and thigh straps. The design includes a VHF / locator beacon pouch, extra tough outer cover materials and a soft loop harness attachment point.
All Deckvest harnesses are fully compatible with the Spinlock range of safety lines. These include single handed, double action safety hooks in non-magnetic stainless steel and a three hook version for manoeuvring without unclipping. An overload indicator displays when the line load exceeds 500kgs (1100lbs) to show that the line needs replacing. The Spinlock Deckvest is supplied with an emergency S-Cutter that is designed for severing safety lines under load.
