Mainstay Marine Patrol Craft are bespoke individually designed steel or aluminium professional series vessels built to client’s requirements. Patrol craft options include ballistic protection and heavy duty fendering for Visit, Board, Search, Seizure (VBSS) operations.
The workboats and windfarm support vessels have been built in conjunction with their in-house design team and various external naval architects including Camarc and Incat Crowther. These proven designs are rugged, reliable craft with excellent sea keeping abilities. All workboats can be offered for tasks including military patrol, coast guard, search & rescue, law enforcement, compliance inspection, pilotage, offshore and crew transfer.
Mainstay Marine design, engineering, fabrication and welding capabilities have been developed over 30 years. These capabilities are showcased in various pilot boats, wind farm support vessels, workboats, passenger vessels and tidal energy devices already launched and in-build.
Mainstay Marine have achieved ISO9001 accreditation. Facilities comprise of two covered and two open slipways, a ro-ro slipway, a wet basin and three build sheds. This enables Mainstay to build, maintain and repair vessels in aluminium and steel up to 40m (130 feet) in length.
