Boston Whaler Guardian range offers a flexible open boat platform for professional operations based on Boston Whaler's unsinkable Unibond construction. The 31' Guardian features include large centre console for multiple navigation and communication systems, in-deck storage compartments for equipment, with locking quarter compartments to secure valuable items. Standard features include a fibreglass hard top with aluminum supports and grabrails, low profile bow rails and transom chafe plate.

The 31' Guardian features include a heavy-duty aluminum leaning post with lockable storage, large in-deck storage and optional dive door. The Guardian range can be used for a wide range of roles including riverine duties, salvage, towboat or dive boat. For military and law enforcement roles the console can be positioned forward to allow maximum aft cockpit space for troop or equipment transport.

Brunswick Commercial and Government Products (BCGP) offer mission-specific options of the 31 Vigilant for law enforcement / homeland security include flush mount strobe with built-in siren and amplifier, Whelen light bar with siren, PA and amplifier. Mission-specific options for Fire / Rescue include Darley Fire Pump System, Cet Fire Pump System, aft intake aft mount with RF remote nozzle (non-foaming) and remote monitor.
