Maritime Security and Coastal Surveillance - Singapore 2016
26.07.2016
The 13th Annual Maritime Security and Coastal Surveillance conference is being held in Singapore on 29 & 30 November 2016.
The Maritime Security and Coastal Surveillance event presents a special focus on search and rescue operations, EEZ protection, multi-lateral cooperation, joint-responsibility best practices and asset procurement plans for coastal protection in the region.
Given the current market tensions and vulnerabilities, multi-lateral maritime security operations are the priority of all defence organisations. In 2016 the 13th Annual Maritime Security and Coastal Surveillance Conference allows government bodies to interact with solution providers as they discuss operational challenges and active requirements.
Maritime Security & Coastal Surveillance is part of Maritime Defense Asia Week which includes two further conferences - "6th Annual OPVs & Corvettes Asia Pacific" and "Underwater Technology & Surveillance APAC 2016".
Key Topics in 2016 Include:
- Coastal Surveillance
- Maritime Security - counter-piracy operations, maritime terrorism
- Humanitarian Assistance - search and rescue, disaster relief
- Maritime Domain Awareness
- EEZ Protection
- Naval Firepower
