Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo 2017 is being held from 16th to 18th January at Tampa Convention Center, Florida USA.

Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo will showcase propulsion technologies and components to an audience of ship owners, operators, boat builders, engine manufacturers, system designers and naval architects.

Electric and hybrid propulsion systems are quieter or even silent, meaning a smoother propulsion experience. Pure electric engines have little or no vibration. Advantages include lower emissions, reducing fuel cost plus the convenience of harbour-side charging. Increased electrification means that vessels can run more auxiliary systems.
