The Zodiac SRMN 500 RHIB was originally built for Military use so their hulls are reinforced to take the G forces that are applied when fully laden and powered at maximum speed. These Sea Ribs are simple, functional and tough. The total deck area is open and reinforced allowing installation of steering consoles, bolsters and other equipment.

The SRMN 500 has a usable floorboard area of 3.10 m². It can carry a maximum of 10 persons according to ISO6185 and the maximum payload including engine and fuels is 1150 kg (2535 lbs).The inflatable collar is constructed of heavy-duty Hypalon neoprene with 5 airtight compartments and is linked by Zodiac’s special intercommunication and inflation valves.

Reinforcements include all round rubbing strake. For handling there is an exterior and interior lifeline plus large tie-down D-rings. The Zodiac SRMN 500 has a plated brass bow carrying handle, a bow mooring eye, stern D-rings, stainless steel bow and stern towing rings plus transom lifting rings. The self bailers are large flow with scuppers plus one hull drain.

The Zodiac SRMN 500 RHIB is available as an ‘off the shelf’ boat with foot pump, repair kit and paddles. The engine transom pad is constructed of marine plywood with an aluminium engine mounting plate. The SRMN 500 transom has GRP trim tabs and is suitable for long shaft outboard motors.
