Addressing Burning Issues in a Changing World

Grand Harbour Southampton UK 2 3 4 April 2019

A high level group of presenters and supporters have been announced for NEXT GEN 2019 - three one day Workshops at Grand Harbour Southampton UK on 2 3 4 April 2019.

In recent years less people are expected to do more work and time is becoming scarce for everyone in the marine industry. These focussed one day Workshops are designed to deliver fast moving and highly relevant sessions.

The feedback from recent NEXT GEN Workshops has highlighted hot topics for further discussion. In recent weeks Workshop Lead John Haynes has personally asked a number of organisations what are their most current burning issues. Their suggestions have been used to develop the April 2019 Workshop programme.

The fast moving Workshop style programme brings together an international group of experts armed with the latest knowledge to identify problems that affect the sub IMO / sub 24 metre maritime sector worldwide - AND highlight potential solutions!

The unique knowledge gained from NEXT GEN presentations and panel discussions will help to shape decisions that lead to improvements for in-service equipment and procurement of next generation vessels and systems that fit the changing requirements of modern fleets around the world.

NEXT GEN Man Overboard Prevention & Recovery - 2 April 2019 >

Focus on topics relevant to workboats, pilot boats, patrol boats, search & rescue, military, offshore, survey vessels, charter, superyachts, ports, harbours and marinas.

NEXT GEN Safety Systems & Equipment WORKSHOP - 3 April 2019 >

Focus on integration of traditional and innovative systems into the maritime workplace to improve safety, communication and situational awareness.

NEXT GEN Shock Mitigation Solutions WORKSHOP - 4 April 2019 >

Focus on 'shock mitigation by all means' for professional and military organisations, boat builders, equipment manufacturers, service providers & standards organisations.

‘Whilst I was there I was bombarded with new and interesting ideas, facts and outlooks. Your infectious enthusiasm for these subjects is clearly rubbing off on all those who were present!’

The three one day events will be held 'back to back' in the historic port of Southampton UK at the Grand Harbour hotel and conference venue on 2 3 4 April 2019.
