Maritime Security West 2017

Maritime Security West 2017 conference is being held from 20 to 22 September in Tacoma, Washington State USA.

The Maritime Security 2017 West event will address the changing needs of governments, military, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure to counter the challenges of securing coastlines, inland waterways, and their critical infrastructure. 

The Maritime Security West program will feature conference sessions, interactive workshops, technology exhibition, on-water port security tour, tactical exercises and capability demonstrations. Homeland Security Outlook are co-hosting the event with Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission, who are charged with all marine law enforcement funding and training in the state. Washington State Parks will be conducting on-water training for police officers during the conference.

Maritime Security 2017 West is the fifth instalment of the Maritime Security West program series, building upon the successes of last year’s conference in Everett, Washington State USA. As the sixteenth maritime security conference hosted by Homeland Security Outlook since 2011, Maritime Security 2017 West furthers a commitment to address the needs of governments, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure stakeholders.
